Grown in Britain
We are delighted to have been awarded a ‘Grown in Britain’ certificate. This guarantees that the timber certified by GIB has been grown legally in the UK in accordance with the UK Government’s Timber Procurement Policy and conforms to the UK Forestry Standard. The chain of custody licence means we can trace all the timber back to its origin and the forest it was grown in.

Grown in Britain are leading the drive for more innovation in the use of British timber and is supporting the development of more local added-value processing to facilitate a reduction in imports.
As the demand for sustainable timber grows, so do the questions about where it comes from and what its impact may be.
Our UK species timber is sourced from forests and woodlands within the UK as well as our own managed mature woodlands on the 1,500-acre Norbury Park and Ranton Estates, where we have over half a million trees (oak, beech, sycamore, larch, sweet chestnut, etc.)
